The Gold Window · Chart Explorer
Real sample questions, organized by what you're trying to do. Click any question to try it.
Chart Explorer is an AI agent with structured access to The Gold Window's data — every chart, every historical data point, current values from live APIs across the LBMA, FRED, CFTC, and more. Ask it a question, it pulls real numbers from the platform's actual data and gives you a grounded answer.
It's not a chatbot. It's a research tool. The voice is institutional rather than conversational. Answers lead with specific numbers, cite the relevant chart, and acknowledge limits honestly. The agent does math on the data, finds historical analogies, and surfaces patterns across the chart library — things that would otherwise take you twenty minutes of clicking and calculating.
It's also bounded on purpose. Chart Explorer answers questions about the data. It doesn't recommend buys or sells, predict future prices, or characterize anything as “cheap” or “expensive” — those are calls you make, not the tool. Once you understand what kinds of questions work, you'll get a lot of mileage from this.
When you just need a number right now — the current ratio, today’s price, the most recent reading.
When you want to understand how the current reading compares to history — percentiles, peaks, troughs, durations.
When you need real math on the data — standard deviations, correlations, z-scores, moving averages.
When you want to see how multiple charts relate to each other right now — which is more extreme, how they’re moving relative to each other.
When you want to find analogous past conditions — "when was the last time X looked like this?"
When you have a client meeting and want to be prepared with specific data points and historical context.
Chart Explorer doesn't make predictions, give buy or sell recommendations, or characterize prices as “cheap” or “expensive.” Those are calls for you to make — the tool exists to give you the data and context to make them, not to make them for you.
It also doesn't engage with theories about market manipulation, doesn't comment on specific securities or funds you might own, and doesn't generate content for your own publications. If you ask it any of those things, it will say so politely and redirect you to what it can help with.
This is intentional. We'd rather build a tool that does a smaller set of things very well than one that tries to do everything and ends up unreliable.

Chart Explorer is freely available during this testing period. We're learning what works and what doesn't from real usage. Eventually, the agent will be available to subscribers; for now, ask it anything you'd like.
