Install on your phone

The Gold Window works as an app on your phone — no app store needed. Add it to your home screen and get a full-screen experience with morning push notifications when the Daily publishes.

iPhone (Safari)

  1. 1Open thegoldwindow.ai in Safari. (This only works in Safari — not Chrome or other browsers on iPhone.)
  2. 2Tap the Share button (the square with an arrow pointing up) at the bottom of the screen.
  3. 3Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. 4Tap Add. The TGW icon will appear on your home screen.
  5. 5Open TGW from the home screen, visit Today, and tap “Yes, notify me” to receive morning notifications when the Daily publishes.

Requires iOS 16.4 or later for push notifications. The app works on older versions but notifications won't be available.

Android (Chrome)

  1. 1Open thegoldwindow.ai in Chrome.
  2. 2Chrome may show an “Install app” banner automatically. If it does, tap Install.
  3. 3If no banner appears, tap the three-dot menu (top right) and tap “Install app” or “Add to Home screen”.
  4. 4The TGW icon appears on your home screen. Tap it to launch in full-screen mode.
